Soft Drink Intake and the Risk of Metabolic Syndrome

In this study researchers assessed whether soft-drink intake is connected with the development of Metabolic Syndrome.

Metabolic Syndrome is a collection of disorders that occur together and increase your risk of developing type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular disease.

The results suggested that the consumption of sugar-sweetened and artificially-sweetened beverages is connected with the development of Metabolic Syndrome.
