This study analysed the evidence of the potential impacts of fish consumption on vascular risk factors such as hypertension and high cholesterol.

The investigation indicated that oily fish consumption can result in significant improvements in triglycerides and HDL levels (important biomarkers of cardiovascular risk).

Findings strongly support the important role of oily fish as part of a healthy diet.
