Occupational stress is on the rise in Western societies, as such, this double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study aimed to determine if a high dose vitamin B complex had a positive effect on mood and psychological strain associated with chronic work stress.

Sixty participants were randomly allocated to either a treatment or placebo group.

Results demonstrated that those in the treatment groups had significantly lower personal strain and a reduction in low mood after 12 weeks.
